Tonight we dream beyond earthly qualms
Safe harbored in each other's arms
Shielded from life's cuts and harms

Only you saw through the veneer and sign
To release the light captured inside
Now together we undefiled glide
Into love's sweet waters, side by side   

The moon glides by, blowing kisses so tender
As we stroll together through night's wondrous splendor
No need to grasp each fleeting now with fervor
For gone is time's torment, the rush and dismember  
Of moments missed, as we saunter and savor
Love's hand in ours, strolling her corridors
Beyond the mundane's curtain and border
Aware only of our hearts' order
To keep beating as one sweet disorder  
Of rhythms romancing, passions accordant
Singing love's song, every note in concordance
As spirits entwine, beyond all discordance   
In your eyes eternity housed, as I glance in
At horizons once veiled, now clearly seen

How the world outside suddenly flips
And fades as through veils our souls knit

Into a realm where only we inhabit

No more walking alone down dead ends bleak

Into love's unknown, now I take the leap
Saying yes to this vision star steeped
 
Tonight we live the dream lovers bequeath
To dreamers who still hold out hope for its wreath  
To adorn their lives and forever bequeath
A love that will withstand even time's wreath  
For when souls meet as ours have done
Separate paths vanish, now there is one
Reality to which we must hearken and hone  
All other roads now cannot enthrone
Or let roots take hold in their false loam
For together we've found our true home
And destination where we can freely roam
Into love's abundant field we are shown
That requires just planting one seed alone
For it to grow and our spirits clone
From One into One once again sewn   
 
As I gaze at the moon, I see only your face  
Reflected celestial, timeless in place
Inside, outside, all boundaries erased
Between earth and the heavens love laced
Together into wholeness again

When all other dreams dissipate like rain

Instead of drowning through pressures stark

Now we together fly beyond every park  
Into night's wilderness often stark

Saving us from flooding that leaves its mark  
Instead in each other we now find a new start

Floating through veils of eternity

Reveals my spirit like morning's sun awaking a rose
My heart quivers and shakes free
From the confines that long kept it composed
As armored and guarded, now naked it glows
No need for shadow or fear of what shows
For your light has coaxed forth my own to expose
The radiance trapped under lies and woes
Now we together thorns and thistles depose
From the garden, letting love again grow
Tending gently to all that bestows
Life, for each other's blossoming we know
Must be nurtured, given soft rains and warm light
To open and reach its proper height  

Has this night truly lasted forever?
Have we actually slipped out of time's tether

As we dance on clouds painted silver by moonshine
Blanketing the sky's background pristine

Of domination where most souls have been
Lost and misled by the unwell obscene

And innermost garden where psyche's can cleanse
Of conditioning's stains by truth's sheen
