Inspiration

Free verse
sometimes i sit and write
and wonder to myself

is it okay to make art inspired by art?
or is it a cheap way to say you've
run all out of inspiration?

but i write with my arms powered by songs.
my heart beating to the banging of a drum
and onto the paper my words flow like
notes from an orchestra
