Flawless timing

Charles Fields II 1955 (Fort Bragg, NC)

From The moment Of our birth
arriving As if on queue

Our consciousness Began to coalesce
Fed by the love Of those we knew

by whose presence We had been chosen
By more than just by chance

To have been blessed to receive
to be taught loves dance

caught up in loves trance

Love is a destination Not just
a magic cure For conditional blues

Miracles are what happens
When we are reassured

There are reasons enough
For painful times we endure

People who choose us
By stages of countless lifetimes

Giving their all For ones by whom
They are touched from within

To defend and make whole
Despite inherent flaws we share

So that others
May find a path in life

To be made purer
Facing this journey

Where we are reassured
when the going gets tough

when we call for back-up
we will never be alone

On this Spiritual battlefield
We all call home

Where do we stand?
In the tides of human kind?

Where is our focus of belief?

And with whom
do you call a friend

what must we find
To become One

With our chosen destiny

Aligned
(If we so choose)

by divine
design
