Evil Demon Lovers

Evil demon lovers.
Attracted to appearances of those,
Picked to perceive them easily defeated.
Taught from birth to be trouble makers.
Negative creatures seeking to destroy,
Peace kept to keep it wherever it exists.
As a reason for their wars.
With more to intend to start and begin,
To pretend themselves to be humanitarians!
While carrying Bibles.
Unopened.
Never to have used.
But they work as props to raise up to the sky!

Blinded they drive themselves to the edge.
These evil demon lovers.
Disguised yet pledging to be,
Wholesome and honest patriots.
Devoted to a great democracy.
When the cameras are on.
And focused upon their faces to masquerade.
With all media gone.
Along with taking attention to them given.
Away from them too,
Are the smiles hypnotic, charming and faked.

And far out of sight they remove their masks.
To brag about nothing more than themselves.
While someone stroking their egos exclaim,
How wonderful it is to be in their presence.
And broad again their smiles appear.
As if to continue beyond their ears.

This...
No one has to ask.
Since they have convinced themselves,
Above they are of any task.
As their disastrous journey nears its end.
By pretentiousness imitated to fiction,
Images to delude.
Idolize and worshipped.
Miraging reflections of themselves to see.
With a doing to prove it done to jump,
Off of the highest cliff.
Adorned in homemade Superman costumes!
Leaving their parachutes behind,
As collector souvenirs at a price high to pay.
