Who are We?

Charles Fields II 1955 (Fort Bragg, NC)

What identifies key characteristics
Which define us

Is it perhaps our physical
Way we do what we do

Do the dimensions
of our intentions

Demonstrate
what attractions

Drive
our interactions

How we celebrate
our independence

And how well we learn
From our mistakes

Or fail to

How well do we fit in
and/or stand out

Where
we earn respect

or suffer from
Pain

we inflict upon
One another

and when
it becomes regret

or falls into
Neglect

from our relative
inability

To learn when to trust
or not to

To love Be loved
In time to find truth

To do what
must be done

or fail miserably

time
after time.

Hopeful eventually
We will be primed

To become us
Me

and you
