by any/every means necessary

To lie/cheat/steal by whatever rules
they might use to give victory

so that evil fruits of their desires
might find the niche,

required/send their master plan
to take power and rule

over the land of the free
home of the brave/no small task,

for a want to be knight,
perpetual knave

force fed from a pallet of stories
of chivalry, bravery, sacrifice and glory

of a mythology ...rewritten history,
largely employed by those who survived

while the prevalent wave of false bravado,
abject stupidity, to spread their rule

of/in an alternate reality
a blocked/cropped vision

of world history, where they alone
choose what truth they allow to be,

heard until the underlying truth...
Exposes the fool

Erases the false tract
reinstates the fact,

Reconstructs the full story
from the bones and ashes

abandons the fallacy
exhumes the ugly truth

Provides real proof
removes the inconvenient

offshoots of the lie
uproots the ruse

negates the hypocrisy

meanwhile, as general society
continues to fall, further still

into the abyss of mediocrity
awaiting the moment of impact,

with what truth we find
upon …reaching terminal velocity
