take care of yourself

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

Everything is calling me back to where I no longer belong, and the bottle wants me to fall in love with her again, and this mystery of being known as myself wants to be once again best friends. What road do I need to travel when everyone seems to have a fork in their way as my fortune faded in life and death? Have I ever really made it, or do I continue with a new mask to the next act?

Everything is calling me back, trying to pull me in every which damn direction. Did I mention I'm doing everything to keep my mind, but everything gets lost in space and time

Not every day was meant to be a love song. I need to pick myself up, dust myself off, and move along to pick and smell the roses because, once in a while, everyone needs to go on a holiday.
