Where Would I be

When growing up, If I new then
What I know now, where would I be?
Where would I go, what would I do?
Would I veer off?  Would I stay the course?

Would I have taken another route?
Would I keep the same pace?
Would I have the same friends?
Just where would I be?

Life is full of what if’s.
We can guess and hope,
But would I still be here?
Just where would I be?

Can I truly say
That I will be here today,
If I knew then what I know now?
Just think of all the possibilities.

But do I really want to know?
It could be worse as life is good now.
So does it matter what I know?
I am where I want to be
