Raised

Raised

Raised on the wings of angels,
Never learning to fly.
Taught to fear the unknown,
And not to ask why.

Strong back and blistered hands,
The assumed path to success.
Its always been done that way,
So that way must be the best.

A hush hush taboo,
For all that made no sense.
So easy not to make waves,
While setting on the fence.

Unintended screen of deception
Started by those before
Evil chain of ignorance
Can exist no more.
