On Wings/Night Wings

i spread my wings into the night
to swiftly fly on beams of light.
Bathing in the echoes of spiritual pools,
touching as with oceans of starlight

My love
there's something i really must confess
in your presence

with softly spoken expressions
of warmth and compassion

in acknowledgement
Of a friendship which to me reveals

A great deal more good-natured concern,
   Faithful strivings and fond remembrances

With a smile playing ever within your eyes
Even thru tears, joy and pain

With tenderness to grow
you walk into my life

each time when we meet
a surge of energy flows

Casting a signal fever passion
to sail beneath a sigh

Your kiss sets my trembling heart
Aflame
with a happiness

Which endures the day-to-day hardship
Unabated,

boiling over with the urge to love
Effortlessly and explosively

Unbound by the restrictions
of time/space perceptions

…asking, if you have ever
Found yourself upon the verge of inclination
absolutely tantalized

Helplessly fevered by the touch
At total depth of soul sensation

wondering if it will require
more than 80 kilocalories of pure emotion
to melt a block of ice

You are something special
of wonder and delight

Building with each moment more,

Expansions thru the spectrum of sensuality

With fragrances and pleasurable moods
As your spiritual flower blooms

In aura surroundings…
as our spirit soul arises

Dawning anew within …this universe
Upon a course unbound and true

In favor of a fellowship

which in itself
Is love
