Nights with you

Charles Fields II 1955 (Fort Bragg, NC)

A warm embrace.

Passionate kisses placed,

Where a man cannot resist.

Thoughts vanish between us
As bodies hum then sing,

spirits levitate

Our dance ensues
amidst the pleasure of the moment

As destiny awakens
an unseen distant calling

Swayed by subtle shifts in gravity
between planets
using calculus applied to our interactions

Lights a path we have no recourse, but follow

Then too, there’s you…
captivating eyes
which illuminate in dark surroundings

Pull at the core of my heart

ways i cannot ignore
Paired with the most heartfelt desire,

thus inclined i find myself falling in love with you.

Thoughts lit by candlelight and wine.

Speaking in an angelic voice.

You capture the moment.
Focus my attentions

by the most beautiful mind,
bringing meaning filled expressions
Bend space/time.

Seems, our dreams meet our memories.
 Perfectly balanced
reaching through our souls.

Find our hearts, eager, able,
willing to explore

Souls tempered by trials
and the capacity to endure

What treasures we create
expressions purely of loving,
sentient beings

Which are
A calling from the unborn
To us

For assistance
in preparation to ride
On the next wave in the flow

To build further upon the foundation
Promise of the Creators wish

 Feelings beyond words…
Carry weight of unborn generations
Just as surely as rains fall

Stir in thy womb
Mother of unfolding creation,

Feeling
an instantaneous connection

These nights with you

Alter my perception

Of life
