I Wish

Rhymed
I wish for the closed minded to be opened
And false accusations cease to be spoken
All the seeds of hatred to never give birth
And to the one in love may you avoid being hurt
Those portrayed as silent may you now be heard
From the outspoken only love behind each word
For myself I wish much more than all the above
To see each other through the eyes of
Unconditional love

About this poem

I had a health issue I was unaware of until 3 years after attending a class reunion. I was in and out of hospitals for a year pressure on the left side which works with the right to form expression and words Three thousand miles away where I attended this reunion the lies surfaced on FB. and a poem was born.

I'm one of 12 children raised on a 15 acre farm in a small town in Maryland. Lived all over the United States even Hawaii and settled in California. I was the first female forklift operator for American Honda when they were located in the city of Gardena.
