Meeting My Vibration

Charles Edward York 1966 (Saigon, Vietnam)

Meeting My Vibration

I’m making my own vibration
Resonate for only one
The soul who shares
The same feeling
So open, sincere and genuine
Breathes the same air
Who is unmistakably true
Touchable and real.

Meeting my vibration matches
The energy inside me
Love for myself and neighbor
The unforced atmosphere
Building a beautiful bridge
Instead of walls
Made of fear or anger
A open door invitation.

The vibration in me ripples on
Seeking to match
A frequency of relevance
A temperature of empathy
An acceptance of equality
Embracing you and me
So we both shine best
When we hold hands together.
