I’m Sorry

Hurting you is the worst I can do
The very opposite of what I feel
All too human is what I am
Putting you through
Pain and sorrow
Bears no resemblance
With right or reason
You are so soft
A heart so precious
So it should come as
No surprise for me to say
I’m sorry.

The most beautiful one I love
You bore the worst I can be
To riddle you down
And reduce you to pieces
Seems reckless
Unforgivable as well
Should’ve known better
Before you I’m accused
You’re right to bury me
I ask you to forgive
The one who loves you saying
I’m sorry.
