Lost and Resued

I travel through all of the places where you used to be.
Was I now or was I then?

And the Universe didn’t know me.
And did not want to know
Me anymore.

I took one step to the side. And there I was.
Another world that did not want me.
But said I have a second chance.

It was all about you, you know.
I stayed in hidden darkened places.
I did things that seemed ok.

My soul was crying.
Why am I here? What have I done?
I claimed I did it all for you.

So God pulled me. Kicking and screaming.
Frightened of the past
And terrified of the future.

Just one step forward. And no steps back.
Not even saved in the nick
Of time. Just saved

I wrote this because I was frustrated about trying to be myself. And running into the problems that other people give you when you’re a little different. more…
