Boy kills girl,
Boys celebrate, girls cry foul,
Girl kills boy,
Girls celebrate, boys cry foul.

It's a cycle really,
Here love kills more than war,
Irreconcilable division, boys vs girls,
Blood is shed, lives are taken.

When will we get it,
They're both our fights,
We fight for our girls together,
We fight for our boys together.

Girl is mother, sister to boys,
Boy is father, brother to girls,
The fights we refuse to fight,
Our daughters, sisters fight or fall victim.

Domestic violence,
Could be your daughter or son,
May be not them today, but tomorrow,
Focus is on the future, our children.

Humans always find differences,
If it's not racial, it's tribal, political,
If it's not all that, then it's gender,
But we're all human, with the same fate.

When girl is killed,
She bleeds red, a life is lost,
When boy is killed,
He bleeds red, a life is lost.

In unity there's power,
Agreeing that life is sacred,
Agreeing that killing is wrong,
Then we start fighting the same fights.
