Request

Had I been the one,
To request, suggest or recommend...
That you believe,
Every word I say to you...
Said clearly to hear each word heard.
No!
I had not been that one,
Attempting to convince you or anyone else...
When I speak from my point of view to give it.
Has nothing to do,
With my attempts to convince you to use...
A mind not mine too obviously to notice,
Independent thinking...
Has not been your preference,
To choose or value as important to keep...
A knowing,
That a penny for your thoughts is not meant...
For you to ask anyone,
How much do they have in their pockets.

'Then what difference does it make,
If inflation has made my thoughts...
Too high of a price to pay,
For my opinion to ask for it.
Done to expect,
On thin air I should be able to feed myself?'

So...
You are saying this random survey,
That may be beneficial to someone else...
Your participation that could be beneficial,
Is a worthless effort to endeavor?

'No.
This is what I am saying,
Who or whomever profits to pocket...
From this 'random' survey you are taking.
Needs to share,
More than just a penny.
When you approach me or anyone,
Expecting me to give up my time spent.
Without you volunteering,
Offering me at least a cup of coffee.
Or a donut of my choosing.'

Oh...

'So...
Put that in your notes.
With quotes of mine if you like.
They are free.'
