Crying

Eyes surprised by wetness
salty stuff awhile
thought the pool had dried up
when he was a child
or dammed up behind hardness
those man muscles for sure
useful certain moments
but then just move around
like a strange infection
traveling uptown
into the eye sockets
preventing said item.

But oh it felt so good
to feel them for awhile
eyelashes swimming
diving down in style
cheekbones surprised
receiving lovely gifts
lost them in the beard a bit
unshaven wilderness.

Just a lovely card
arriving in the mail
no big deal
but then again
they did just
stick around.
