Tell Me I'm Yours

Kimberly Tenold 2008 (Missouri)

I dont wanna sing the blues
So let me stay here with you
Dreams I've been having
They havent been too kind
To my lost and fearing mind

For one night tell me I'm yours
Let me live there forever
One day I'll be better
For worse or for never
I dream of the happy after that

To which I'll not find
To steal your heart back
That would be my biggest crime

It's a thing of beauty. I have one with all that stuff in it.

There is not much profundity in these lines. They try to pass as a love-poem but the work is too simplistic and thus lacks a poetic expression and good written feelings and the rhyme-scheme is too trivial, not much effort went into it. Think harder and work better and this will be more like good or well-thought out writing.
