WHY DO I LAUGH

Why do I laugh when no one else is laughing? Why do I laugh at the most profound moments, like when I'm told you will be late for your own damn funeral? I laugh, saying with my wise-ass smirk that it's ok; I'm not going anywhere.

Life is a running joke. I am the comedian on my stage with moments of madness, love, and rage. Life is like poking a bear to see if it shits where it eats and to see what I'm made of. When they think that I can't take anymore, I laugh like a lunatic in a mental hospital, saying you hit like a bitch

Why do I laugh? They ask when it is so much easier to cry. I reply there is a pain in pleasure and pleasure in pain. Have you ever really smiled and didn't know why? I suggest you try before the day they call your number and you die.

I laugh because I know too well the tears that can dwell inside your eyes, and both laughter and tears can come at a moment like some surprise, so through my struggles, I choose to rise and live my life in my silent laughter.
