THE NEXT 15 Rounds

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

Take my body, take my sight. But you will never take away what was ever put in my heart and mind from the start of time. I'm ready to go 50 yards without showing my cards and calling the bluff of your shit. I had enough. This is going to be a 15-round title defense fight. You better believe that this life is calling me no matter the confusion it has me sitting in, and if I do not answer, that will not be someone else's problem, but it will be my original sin. You better bet on your sweet ass; I came here to win.

They kept throwing punches, trying to break my bones, but I came throwing haymakers. I'm not backing down. I'm the king in this ring. I'm not backing down, I'm not turning my head, I'm not going home. I know I stand alone.

I am rolling the dice, drinking the whiskey in my cup. I can fall twice, get up before a  third time, or it is a TKO, and the bright lights will be the only heaven I know, so let us go, you bastards, toe to toe, blow to blow; I got more fire and fight than you will never know.

Mama always told me, Son, you never knew your daddy he was an evil man, but you got his outlaw soul even t They might have a chance to take your body and time, but this. is the 15th round, and I just heard the bell, so dear child of mine, this is the fight of your life. Make some noise and give them hell and fight 15 rounds and 15 more until its them laying on the floor
