Returning

Nestled in your heart I've always been.
Part of your heart and mind.
In every waking moment and ever step taken.
No denial that you love me.
No denial that you never stopped.
No denial that you forgave me.
For ever misstep taken.
And mispoken word.
For ever crazy moment.
For every crazy thought.
For every day away.
For ever day near.
Your love is undeniable.
Your love is understanding.
Your love is compassionate.
Thanking my lucky stars.
For every moment with you.
For every laugh.
For ever tear.
For every triumph.
For every failure.
I thank you for all today.
And thank you for all that will come tomorrow.
