I Miss

I Miss
By Nancy Rodriquez

I miss going to your place every night,
watching old television shows from the past,
If I could wish with all of my might,
those days would have still been a matter of fact,
I miss your laughter, in good or bad jest,
kissing tender kisses and holding hands,
touching you was something I could not resist,
In reflection, why we are over with, I can not understand,
I miss being able to tell you my troubles too,
working together to solve them as best we could,
I miss working to make our dreams come true,
and looking back on our love that grew,
while doing all of the things we would do,
I miss the good times we would have,
being ourselves, relaxed,
before things became troubled and tossed,
and without you, I feel incredibly lost,
I thought of you as an anchor for a weary soul,
until your pride took control,
I miss us, being us.
