Frozen in time

Paul Marauder 1962 (Belfast)

Free verse
The thunder clouds roared like a jet plane
I was ambushed by the sleet and the rain

I found myself in Watertown where everyone
looked like Popov the Sunshine clown

I wear a Stetson hat and I strap a gun
Ain't no cowboys left in the land of the sun

On the back of my buckskin jacket is an anarchy sign
My leather shotgun chaps are a Westwood Design

That been said, I plead guilty to the crime of being
frozen in time
