Gasser

Yeah he might look like a vagrant
with his unwashed hair
His clothes caked in spoiled food
His dirty shoes
His faraway eyes
And broken spirit

But I remember him years before a
thief stole his mind

The first time I met him he looked like
he was carved from stone
He had a long hooked nose that made
his face look sharp

His hair cut to the bone made him look
tough
He laughed like Muttley
Had neck muscles like Tyson and he
could curse for hours and never repeat
himself

He was also mad as a hatter and I mean
mad

He would ride his black 750cc Honda motorcycle at full speed in 10mph  speed zones

He wore a combat jacket with  a nazi iron cross medal badge on the collar

He had a dog called Rebel that would’ve
bitten your arm off

Wrote off a 1000 cars and walked away
unhurt from them all

Had a 1000 hobbies that never lasted

Wrecked 1000 computers that he tried
to fix

 left 1000 dreams unfulfilled

But one thing is certain
His legend is secure
For he left us a treasure chest of memories
Each one of them gold
Pure gold
