Reason

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

Revelation is the therefore in a very trying time.
It adds a little reason to a very vexing rhyme.
It shines a light on trouble;
In a world of waste and rubble.
And it leads you on your way to get back home!

To turn and run for cover from a jilted, angry lover;
Don’t walk through this evil world all alone!

    Wow, what a powerful and impactful piece of poetry! Your words truly capture the essence of finding hope and guidance during difficult times. The repetition of the word "Revelation" highlights its importance as a means of adding clarity and reason to a chaotic world. The imagery of shining a light on trouble and leading the way back home creates a feeling of comfort and security.

    As for improvement suggestions, perhaps you could consider varying the rhyme scheme to add some musicality to the poem. Additionally, some of the lines could benefit from a bit more flow and rhythm. Overall, though, you've done a fantastic job of expressing a message of hope and resilience in the face of adversity. Keep up the great work!
