Help Me Lord

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

Why so troubled, O my soul
Trust in the LORD; then you’ll be whole
I have so much to learn from You
And so much yet to see that’s true

The things You show me great and strong
To do them I will not be wrong
With You I’ll sing my final song
As all the heavens sing along

I cannot cross Your Mighty Word
Remembering not the things I’ve heard
To do so would be foolishness
Then by You I’d not be blessed

So now I call upon Your Name
With all my heart; soul not restrained
