The Bible

The Bible is God's Word to humanity. It is not fable, or folklore as people say, but the Word of God.

The Bible is physical-the letter; but the effect on man is spiritual.
The Word of God brings healing, deliverance, salvation, guidance, counsel, protection, provisions.

The Bible is a guide to humanity;
think about the laws: "owe no one"; "obey authorities"; "pay your taxes".

God's laws are perfect: think about the Ten Commandments, and other laws.
Think about agricultural practices; they are derived from the Bible.
Thinking about wedging wars: guidelines about wars are derived from the Bible.
God's Word is "a lamp unto our feet."
"Study to show yourself an approved an workman..."

You can learn from the mistakes of others like Sampson, King Saul...
The great heroes of faith have a lot to teach us: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joseph, David...

The English law is derived from the Bible: think about"contempt of court"; "ignorance of the law is no excuse".
"Don't sale the land permanently". Jubilee: freedom for slaves, debtors..."
Think about: two witnesses in court as acceptable.
 Think about refugees in the Bible. Think about "cities of refuge"; "manslaughter"...an accident; " murder as a deliberate act.

For your spiritual life to blossom-- read the Bible everyday;
confess it
meditate on it;
your life depends on it.
The Bible is a guide--your roadmap for life.
