Chinyere is not looking at you,
not even Adanna
they are at their business;
please, mind your own.
Okonkwo is not ;
watching your trickery
not even Nkwachukwu;
they are at their business;
please, mind your own.
Pam is not gossiping about you,
not even Ikenna;
they are brainstorming to solve they problem;
please, mind your own.
Sam is not scrutinising your mischieviousness;
not even Julie;
they are not even aware of you;
please, mind your own business.
About this poem
Self-consciousness is a problem; in your little shell, you think the whole world is focused on you, while people are engrossed in their own business. It is only an idle mind who pokes into private lives. Relax and be free.
