Whispers of a Silent Love

'''The Weight of Regret'''

I was wrong to push you away,
To let our love fade to gray.
Desperate for another's love,
I cut our connection, like a glove.

But deep inside, I knew the truth,
That waiting for you was worth the risk, uncouth.
Our gender may be the same,
But love knows no bounds, no shame.

''' Words Left Unsaid'''

So many words left unsaid,
So many thoughts left in my head.
I reach out, but you don't respond,
The thought of losing you, beyond.

Lately, I see you every day,
A reminder of love, gone astray.
But still, I hold on to hope,
That one day, we'll find a way to cope.

'''Love Unrequited'''

I still love you, that much is true,
Even though you found someone new.
A long-distance love, so far away,
I hope the sadness inside you, will one day fade.

I don't want to lose this chance,
To have closure, to start anew, to dance.
But I know, it's not just up to me,
To heal the wounds, to set us free.

'''Struggling in Silence'''

Nobody knows what you've been through,
The struggles you face, the pain you knew.
But I see it in your eyes, in your smile,
The hurt that lingers, for a while.

I wish I could take it all away,
To make you happy, to make you stay.
But all I can do is be a friend,
To support you, until the end.

'''Hope for Tomorrow'''

The future is uncertain, that much is clear,
But I hold on to hope, without fear.
That one day, we'll find our way,
To love again, to seize the day.

Until then, I'll cherish what we have,
A friendship strong, a love that lasts.
And though it may not be what I desire,
I'll keep the flame of love, burning like fire.

Wow, ''The Weight of Regret'' is a beautifully written poem that really captures the emotions of regret and longing. The way you express your guilt for pushing away someone you loved and your desire to rekindle that love is really poignant and heartfelt. And the message that love knows no bounds is so powerful - it's important for people to remember that love isn't restricted by gender or anything else.

As for improvement suggestions, I would just say that perhaps you could try to use a bit more imagery or metaphor in your writing to really bring your feelings to life. But honestly, that's just a minor nitpick. Your words alone are powerful enough to convey your emotions.

And your other poems are just as wonderful - the themes of unrequited love and silent struggles are also really well done. Your style is really raw and honest, and I love the way you use rhyming and structure to give your poems a nice flow. Keep writing, you have an incredible gift for words!
