My Better Half Is Me

My better half,
When I look into the mirror,
I realise,
it lies within me .
Behind the soul,untold,
looking for someone,
My hands to be hold.
To pull me out of me,
for what I want to be.
But when the wait goes vain,
heart aches in pain.


My half in me,
to make me better than best,
need not be on rest.
Rather, cease expecting.
Begin to believe in,
to be the perfect you.
Half and half to complete one,
Then comes my turn.
I go different with the real me in me,
When my colours go vibrant,
with many shades you see.


Now ,when I listen to myself ,
the best in me is delved.
And the hidden character is derived.
Where I am  medicines to my pain,
there's laughter when I'm insane.
I'm  stronger when complete,
the newer me is there to defeat.
To bring out the best in me.
That's how my better half is,
Within my soul,to make me whole.
