Who is He?

royston 1946 (Reading)

Down in the gutter where the rubber hits the road,
and the people are carrying such a heavy load,
You will find Jesus walking and talking with them
The Son of God, this Holy Man of Bethlehem..

There He reaches out to the man with leprosy.
There He opens eyes so that the blind can see.
There He unstops the ears of a man born deaf.
Calls dead men from the grave and gives them breath.

Who is this One of whom all of the prophets speak?
Who is this Holy One whom all the Wise men seek?
He is Jesus the Christ, the Way, the Truth and Life.
Who has opened heaven's door by His sacrifice.
