A Lifetime Learning the language of love

Royston 1946 (Reading)

The language of love was not known to me then,
for I’d been schooled only in the hardness of men.
Taught to bury my emotions inside of me
and never express feelings or act lovingly.

Then, as though out of the blue you entered my life
and showed me the way of His love and sacrifice.
My dear, what a difference that has made to me
for it has transformed me into the man you see.
