The DAO of Fixity and Movement

Fixity and movement
are akin to time and space;
energy kinetic and potential.

Now resting, now acting,
The coupling of time and space,
in infinite pose of dancing.

Yin-yang motion of energy,
in rhythmic cyclic dancing;
DAO coupling of opposites.

Life courting death,
the chrysalis of resurrection;
of all matter in transformation.

All is  DAO in motion.
Motions of transformation
through  prisms of time and space.

Change of all matter is the key.
Change is transformation.
Change is the alchemy of nature.

Change is always stationary.
It’s station is that of change itself.
That is its DAO status.

Matter contracting, expanding,
combustible, noncombustible;
alert and dormant; in one fell swoop.

Movement and fixity
constitute the cycle of life;
time and space in tandem.

Fixity and movement
are akin to time and space;
energy kinetic and potential.

About this poem

Fixity and movement exemplify the DAO alchemy of time and space, as both transitory and stationary, inert and active, exhibiting the dynamism of energy that is both kinetic and potential.
