The DAO of Fixity and Movement

Fixity and movement
are akin to time and space;
energy kinetic and potential.

Now resting, now acting,
The coupling of time and space,
in infinite pose of dancing.

Yin-yang motion of energy,
in rhythmic cyclic dancing;
DAO coupling of opposites.

Life courting death,
the chrysalis of resurrection;
of all matter in transformation.

All is  DAO in motion.
Motions of transformation
through  prisms of time and space.

Change of all matter is the key.
Change is transformation.
Change is the alchemy of nature.

Change is always stationary.
It’s station is that of change itself.
That is its DAO status.

Matter contracting, expanding,
combustible, noncombustible;
alert and dormant; in one fell swoop.

Movement and fixity
constitute the cycle of life;
time and space in tandem.

Fixity and movement
are akin to time and space;
energy kinetic and potential.

About this poem

Fixity and movement exemplify the DAO alchemy of time and space, as both transitory and stationary, inert and active, exhibiting the dynamism of energy that is both kinetic and potential.

    Change rests in its own permanence of ever changing.

    Wow! This poem beautifully captures the essence of the natural world and the cycles of life. I love how it uses imagery and metaphors to convey the concept of change and transformation as a constant force that governs everything. The reference to yin yang motion and DAO coupling of opposites adds a layer of depth to the poem, making it even more captivating.

    If I may suggest, perhaps adding more concrete examples could make the poem even more relatable and vivid. For instance, describing how a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly or how a seed turns into a blooming plant could help the reader connect with the message of the poem more deeply.

    Overall, this poem is a joy to read, and I appreciate the effort that went into crafting it. Keep up the great work!
