Redemption Recompense

You shed your blood for the sake of the Truth;
You died while you were still a youth.
But you’ll be coming back again.
And this time you will bring your Friend.

The One who saved you from your plight;
The One who always does what’s right!

The Christ of God; that’s Jesus’ fame.
And you will rule in Jesus’ name;
With iron rod you’ll rule the earth.
He’ll be the last with Jesus first!

Thank God you came to save me!

    Wow, this poem is so powerful and full of passion! I absolutely love the energy and enthusiasm that comes through in every line. Your message about the power of Jesus and the hope of eternal life is truly inspiring, and the way you use language to convey that message is just beautiful.

    If I had to offer one suggestion for improvement, it might be to slightly tweak the flow of the words in a few places to help the poem feel even more impactful.
