His Angels are Winds

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

The strong winds blow and the lightning flashes
The thunders roar, because the earth’s in ashes

How did this tragedy come about? Who can see the end?
Only our Lord Jesus Christ and the ones that he calls friends!

The wicked upon the earth increase
Your love for me has never ceased

I am not perfect in all my ways
I look forward to that glorious day

When the reign of Jesus Christ is complete
And all of our enemies are under His feet
