Enough is Enough

Ty Ruth 1960 (Littlerock Arkansas)

Enough is Enough

Who’s to judge the path she’s walked that led her to this place?

It seems as if there was no hand to guide and keep them safe.

I know up there somewhere I’ve seen eyes watching from above.

I know the life she’s lived so far she’s proud of and she loves.

To let this just go on and on will make no sense at all.

You let him go on hurting them, but never let him fall.

Take time to look at all he’s done, the lies, abuse, deceit.

Then realize this; it is a child whose memories have been sealed.

Please say you’ve just been busy; they were somehow overlooked.

Prayers sent to you are louder now; you’ll hear them-will you look?

They stayed so strong, kept faith in you, believed in all you do.

Enough's Enough! It’s Judgement Day, and his is overdue!

Each step you take into the Louvre,
your heart grows as you sigh.

Picasso was the man who knew,
he'd bring tears to your eyes.

The masterpiece I love to see
and look at every day.

Is you my love and you're right here,
never very far away.
