Keep Going

This poem goes to those who gave up on life
Those hopeless days they decided to quit the fight

This poem goes to those who lost a dad
Those childhood memories they miss so bad

This poem goes to those who let go of a dream
Those darkest times where light can’t be seen

This poem goes to those who lost a mom
Those piercing pains they wish to be gone

This poem goes to those who walked away
Those awful moments that made them not to stay

This poem goes to those who cried a liter of tears
Those tough days they succumbed to their fears

This poem goes to those I want to make it clear
That life will never be an easy journey, my dear

It consists of endless failures and success
It has its own share of happiness and stress

Its complexities are far beyond what we can comprehend
Its ironies are something we can never ever mend

It can make us strong and weak from time to time
It’s something that’s quite difficult to define

It can give us a reason to love and hate
It can bring peace or a tiring debate

But what makes life really special and interesting
Can only be discovered by those who’ll keep going!!!

About this poem
