Hunger & Hope

I been hungry for the throne right from when I was a boy.
I had nothing to hold, and it made me so annoyed.

And then there came a dream that would take me out of shame,
the Glory of The Lord that will be give me all the fame.

I couldn't rest my head cause I had nowhere to stay,
so then I had to run miles very far away.

All I had on my mind was some help and then the grace,
but lots and lots of struggles on my way I had to face.

There was a time I sat just right across the road,
with my head bowed down, and a need for one to hold.

But almost all I met looked down on me in disdain,
and I couldn't stop myself from wallowing in my pain.

Only one thing I had asked, that they give me their support.
For where I was was cold, and at the same time very hot.

I wrote to men and ladies, thinking I could get their pity.
I told them of my worries, and that I was very needy.

No man was near to help, and no one that I could call.
But yes I have my Savior who will get me through it all.

I know I have the talent, and I know I'll make it out.
And finally when it happens, I will gather many crowns.

I will gather lots of likes, and also so many fans.
I will travel round the globe with my parents and sisters.

Of course I am a star and the world is gonna know.
My fame and wealth so many, and it's obvious it will show.
