THE WARRIOR WHO FIGHTS ALONE

Silence is the only way I fight now, and my spirit guides showed me how. I laid my weapons down years ago, only keeping my armor and shield along this walk that some care not to talk about, for they do not know this new journey I am on.

Pray for me, for I am not as perfect as you think you are
I do not feel shame, nor do I apologize for the scars that tell my story and the new ones with pride  I wear. I wake up in the early hours of the morning to reflect on each event of the past and present to see how I can further grow because I heard you weep about what you sow.

I did not rush the process; I took my time. I no longer wanted to be the general or just a warrior. I laid down my sword to pick up my crown, yet they both are a part of me that, in the future, I can not deny
