PICK YOUR BATTLES

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

What do you stand for if you stand for nothing? I have been walking this journey that some might call life but I called it lies while I was seeking the truth. I walked the path of many battles while looking to win a self-made war maybe I was the enemy putting a target on my back up until now.

There was a reason why I survived many deaths while others did not survive one meeting their faith and taking their last breath. I have a higher calling from the all-seeing and knowing. a wise man once told me I need to take the power back or maybe I heard it in a lyric of a song. it has been so long since I used my words and voice and was a freedom fighter

They tried to enslave me but I am not a slave to be owned. they tried to silence me yet I continued to kick and scream as they tried to chain me down. do you hear that haunting sound it is me picking my last battle to stratgicialy win my final war
