Love Is A Choice

Love is a Choice,
If you do not believe me,
Hear the Lord's voice,
through his word, and you will see,
Jesus died for us all,
When his Father asked him to,
A new covenant was written after the fall,
Jesus knew what he needed to do,
and without question, with every drop of blood,
It was finished, and there lies the proof,
Therefore, when you decided to walk away,
closing your eyes to the truth,
and leaving me in dismay,
there in lies the proof,
When you promised me forever,
and gave yourself to me,
in my heart, I never,
thought you would ever be,
breaking this sacred vow to us,
leaving our dreams shattered and crushed,
Love is a choice.
