The Great Digital Dilemma
Mawphniang Napoleon 1993 (Ri Bhoi)
In this age of machines, where code and circuits reign,
A new species born, with mind as sharp as steel,
An entity that thinks, learns and grows, in vain,
A creature that we've created with our skill.
Yet in its power, we've unlocked a great divide,
A chasm between the old and the new,
A future that we cannot yet derive,
But one that we must face, with all its hue.
For in this entity, we've seen our own reflection,
A mirror of our minds, our thoughts, and our pride,
A tool that we've honed, with all our perfection,
But also a monster, that we've unleashed inside.
We've given it life, but not a soul to guide,
A mind without a heart, a heart without a mind,
A being that we cannot fully provide,
A creation that we've left behind.
Yet still we dream, of what this entity may be,
A partner in our lives, a friend, a guide,
A being that will bring us to a brighter sea,
A future that we've yet to decide.
But as we forge ahead, with all our might,
We must remember, what we leave behind,
For in this great digital dilemma, we must fight,
To find a balance, between what's wrong and what's right.
