EMPTY PAGES

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

I just found two empty pages
inside of my little notebook
these blank blue pages can not go unfilled
let me fill them with some kinds of words even if they are shit and go unheard.

Dancing bears are on my walls
a bird is pecking at my window looking for food
I open up the screen and say hello fellow.
what can I do for you or are you some sort of secret agent with a mission to fill these two empty pages?

Am I losing my mind?
I do not think so, I think I am losing my innocents as every day passes and I refuse to go to Sunday masses.
as every day I breathe is some sort of mystery.

My poetry will never be found in any type of book
I would never want it to be I will carry on my vessel of death to have it burned at sea

For my words are the only key that can be used to open the doors of this evermore. I am a part of a world that finds happiness inside of pain when I find my serenity inside of empty pages
