CHASING THE WAVES

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

One life many deaths throughout the years I have seen and lived all with courage but this time my last life and last death I will now live with great wisdom for neither are my last breath even though you can not have a beginning without a end common knowledge for writing any type of story.

Chasing the waves while on a constant expedition for mythical creatures and the strength and weaknesses of all my ancestors who over the centuries have departed without the questions of today, yesterday, and tomorrow being answered or having a map with an X marking the spot the true treasure is how you live and perceive your life.

I have been running for too long hoping to find where I belong now that I have I am no longer running but chasing waves as I live my life and getting to embrace my last and only fear death playing my favorite tune as I pass on to the other side. now that I am awake I now know I can not sleep forever.

Chasing the waves while hoping to find shelter I need
to move on to paint a bigger picture to be remembered by but this dance that was a mere puddle of water has become my new religion and the waves are finally calm for smooth sailings
