From the Last Supper, Singing

This is the moment

Not hours from now

I sing with my comrades

The Spirit shows how.

I know what is pending

The Traitor's embrace.

But here we will sing

And here touch God's face.

The lessons have peaked, yes

Of Joy and of Prayer

Of Spirit's indwelling

To soothe every care.

The friends hardly see it

But time will improve.

Obedience is Power.

Obedience is Love.

Oh let them remember

I left with a smile.

And singing, full knowing

Reunion Above.
