He Shone a Light

He Shone a Light Upon My Spirit
A Light Within
A Light to be Seen
In Between
The Surface of Me & You…
Continue…
Continue…
Continue…
Continue…
Continue…
Continue…
Continue to Reach Above to
Glorify Him,
In His Name
For His Namesake
In Jesus Name
Never Forsaken Me
Nor You
Never Abandoned Me,
It’s True
For Rule is He to Operate in Us,
As we Trust in Him
As we Trust in His Ability to Deliver Us
‘Til Kingdom Come
On Earth as We are in Heaven
-ly Bound, From the Ground Up
At the Root of Our Core
At the Root of Our Faith,
For His Sake
In Heaven’s Stake,
Amen, Amen, Amen

About this poem

I wrote it during my lunch break immediately after I spent some quiet time with the Lord & ended my earnest prayer. The words just came to me as led by the Holy Spirit on this poem.

Hey I really dig this poem. I’m an atheist but I still love spiritual poems. Gospel music too. I have actually wrote a Jesus poem. I’ll post just to let you see it. You are clearly very talented so keep on keeping on
