My Best “Fren” (Whom I’m in Luv With)

We’ve recently reconnected
And suddenly it’s been revealed to me that
He’s the One
That he has been all along
The one I’ve been preparing for
That what I’ve been feeling for him since childhood
Was more than just deep infatuation

He Shone a Light

He Shone a Light Upon My Spirit
A Light Within
A Light to be Seen

The Trap of Rejection…

It’s such a pretty sight
How it’s happened all my life
Formed my beauty, thoughts, intellect,
My compassion for others,
Super heightened sensitivity & empathy…

Passion for food for comfort
A need to defend myself bc
Nobody else would…

Oh my goodness, this is soooo gooooodddd! I especially love this part, so kool!: "I have walked through hell's flames, holding my head up high and shaking Lucifer's gates. The angels kept on calling my name. I followed their voices and came out with my wings charred in black."

Out of all the poems I’ve read, I can’t stop thinking about this one. It has an impeccable rhythm & organizational feel to it. It just flowed so naturally & the imagery is so vivid. Great job!
