Yours Again.

Luminary 1990 (Scarborough)

I have suffered the most crushing defeats,
All to become crowned,
The victor of your love,

My heart was to shattered glass,
As tears are to a stream,
Broken and moving on,

What hurt me the most,
Is how your cup stayed full,
While mine had broke,

I remember every painful goodbye,
That is,
Only until,

You speak one word,
As if to cast it as a spell,
And I forget everything,

Once you call,
To say,
Hello,

And just like that,
I am yours,
Again,

You,
Must,
Know.

About this poem

No matter what she does, he is hers, whenever she wants him to be, and he both knows that she knows and he wants her to know as well.
